The doors of the beautifully restored Mark Prairie Schoolhouse will be open for a special Open House this Saturday, July 25th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and everyone is welcome!
Whether you've driven past the schoolhouse for years and wondered what it looks like inside, you're interested in local history, or you're looking for a unique venue for a wedding, family reunion, meeting, shower, celebration, or community event, we'd love to show you around.
During your visit you can:

🏫 Learn about its remarkable restoration

Whether you enjoy welcoming visitors, helping at events, preserving local history, working behind the scenes, or lending a hand with maintenance, there's a place for you at the Mark Prairie Historical Society.
No special experience is required, just an interest in helping preserve one of Canby's treasured historic landmarks for future generations.
Every hour makes a difference, and we'd love to have you join our volunteer family.
